Sigiriya

My next town was the ancient city of Sigiriya, known especially for the Sigiriya rock. The cave paintings therein are also amazing, sadly pictures were not permitted.

I stayed at a cool hotel with a lovely pool midway between Sigiriya and Dambulla, making it a great starting point to check out both towns. And fortunately the food was great in the hotel, as I had to eat all my meals there.

Photos from my morning at Sigiriya rock, I’d suggest you get there by 7:30 am to avoid the crowds:

I was told to stop making the same smile, so here’s a try at another:

  1. Muy interesante lugar. Buenas vistas y traviesas abejas.
